Shalini & Robin travelled all the way to Pune, India for their wedding. They were already married in Germany in a catholic church, but they wanted to tie the knot among Shalini’s relatives in India who couldn’t travel across to Germany. The two wedding celebrations began with a informal sangeet and followed by a crazy party. Their close friends had come down from Germany as well. The wedding was a hindu wedding& close-knit affair with just the family & close friends coming together. They were married at TheWestIn pune.
From their German friends getting lost on their way to the hotel day prior to the Sangeet, a fantastic surprise performance by Robin & his friends during Sangeet, Shalini’s parents deciding to join the already dance floor which was first time ever! to everyone dancing their hearts out late in the night it was one evening to remember.
It was a late evening wedding and preps began early afternoon. Entire wedding was high spirited and packed with energy. From Var Mala, showering of rice, wedding vows to vidaai there was never a dull moment. During both the days we spent sometime together to make portraits which turned out of the more than fantastic!
Here’s a selection of photos from their German Bengali Hindu wedding.
