I am extremely happy to post this wedding on the wedding blog. I still remember how excited I was when Nishigandha had asked me to cover her wedding with Keshav!! I have known Nishigandha for a long period of time. She is one of the finest make-up artists in Pune and a good friend.
Their wedding was a very cozy close-knit affair with best friends & family coming together to join them in their celebrations. Keshav’s home which was the venue; looked beautiful with all the décor of flowers over the stone & brick clad walls. His home is almost out of Pune city nestled over a hill top & away from the hustle-bustle and one can see miles away. A fantastic place to sit and enjoy watching the sun go down. Their made “home weddings” super cool way before we were all forced by the pandemic to have these small weddings!
As I entered the house, I saw Nithya Nishigandha’s daughter along with her granny making arrangements for the wedding décor. There were kids running around and having a ball while elders were busy chit chatting. Rj Sangram did what he does best! recording everyone’s good thoughts to share for the newly weds. Nishigandha looked stunning as she got ready wearing an elegant saree with adorned by Keshav’s ancestral jewellery. They have known each other for a while there is a wonderful comfort zone they share. We did get some time before the registration to take photos. It was a little bit of a difficult task to get Keshav along 😊 but managed to pull him in and get some wonderful photos.
The registration is generally a boring process but with the entire family cheering them with every signature, it turned out to be great fun! This was followed by high tea and later a small dinner party.
A super thank you to Nishigandha & Keshav for letting me be a part of their wonderful story and sharing with me one of their most cherished days.
