Radhika & Aditya’s kannada marathi wedding from Australia to Pune

Grab your favorite drink, sit comfortably and get ready as I take you on a journy of Radhika & Aditya’s wedding photos. It’s a long post but worth every photo :)

If you haven’t yet seen Radhika & Aditya’s pre wedding shoot, I would really ask you to have a look, right now! These two rocked their pre wedding, sangeet & the wedding. Radhika & Aditya stay in Australia along with their families and traveled all the way to Pune to get married. It’s an amazing story of how to manage an entire wedding across continents to the T.

Our communication stretched over months via emails and voice calls and we met just a few days before their wedding at Ramee Grand. It was a great connect between us. We shared a lot of stories, lame jokes over a few cups of chai.  A day before the festivities began I whisked them away for their pre wedding shoot to Mulshi. What a fantastic day we had. Getting up at 4am to standing at the edge of a cliff they did it all!

The first day of the wedding Aditya’s parents renewed their wedding vows and celebrating his father’s 60th birthday. I felt lucky to have been their and document such beautiful moments. It’s not every day that you get to see such functions.

Their Sangeet was out-and-out fun with everyone performing out of love for these two. Their friends were the musicians for the day! Some wonderful songs, dance performances, poems and a final act from all their friends who came over from Australia. Time for the big day!

Wedding story began early morning. It was extremely cold day we sat in the car while waiting for Radhika at the make-up artists studio. A little warmth goes a long way ;) Radhika looked stunning as she was transformed into the beautiful Mahrashtrian bride. The very first photo was of their friends posing with a cup of chai (reminds of the commercial, arey huzur wah taj boliye!) The ceremonies were a mix of Marathi & Karantaka’s rituals and it turned to a long busy day. While the world was occupied in ceremonies these two were oblivious to what was going around. They joked, laughed, shared every moment and cherished every second they were together.

We got sometime for couple portraits. It was a total breather and these two were downright amazing! We were back joking, laughing and we made beautiful photos together. Aditya was a hands down winner when it came to nail buffing (he had got his nail buffing-care done a few days back from the spa in Ramee Grand) :P

Radhika & Aditya, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to document your story and giving me the freedom to work, putting your trust in my art and vision. You two are genuinely wonderful people I’m glad to have met and to have you as my wonderful friends forever. Abig thank you to your families for making me feel at home all three days.

Have a look at their wonderful pre wedding shoot photos. You don’t want to miss this!
