I was incredibly happy to photograph Tanvi’s maternity session. I had earlier photographed Tanvi and Nishikant’s pre-wedding and wedding, and was absolutely stoked when they asked me to be part of this next chapter in their lives.
We had planned a relaxed outdoor maternity session, and since Nishikant was in town, we decided to include the father-to-be as well. If you noticed—the location is the same as their pre-wedding photoshoot in Pune! The winter morning sun and golden light greeted us with perfect weather, setting the tone for a calm and candid session. We roamed around the property, laughed a lot, shared memories from the wedding, and created some wonderful photos together. It was one of those sessions that didn’t feel like work—it felt like catching up with old friends while doing what I love.
After we wrapped up the outdoor shoot, we went upstairs for a hot cup of tea and even captured a sweet moment with Tanvi’s mom—a lovely addition to the session and a quiet reminder of how meaningful these family milestones are.
Tanvi and Nishikant, you two are truly wonderful people, and I know you’re going to be fantastic parents to your little bundle of joy. It’s such a privilege to be your maternity photographer in Pune, just like it was to be your wedding storyteller.
