I am stoked to share Priya & Anshul’s wedding pictures here! If there would be a relaxed wedding, this would be it one of them!

Priyadarshani and I met somewhere in December. I found an evening out in between a super packed wedding season to meet Priya and her parents. I’m so glad that I did. She has big heart-warming smile. She is one of the coolest, expressive & fun loving people I’ve met. I heard their story and was all set for their wedding. She is a Nift Hyderabad passout while Asnul is a Navy coast guard. Presently they stay in the beautiful city of Kochi, Kerala. They had a small engagement and full house sangeet night on the wedding eve. Probably the craziest bunch of people I’ve met who knew exactly how to party late into the night. Their friends and families had come from all over India to be a part of their story. The wedding day started early with Haldi. I truly say Sangeet & Haldi is where the true fun of the wedding is J. And I was in for a treat.

I always get to see and learn traditions I’ve never seen before. Anshul hails from Haryana. So before wedding there were a few rituals which I saw for the first time like “tel chadhana” followed by Baraat. While Anshul set the tone with his Baraat, I ran over to the place where Priya was getting ready. We got some wonderful set of portraits and some fun pictures with her siblings & mom.

They ensured the wedding matched the fun levels of rest of the events. We got some time later for their portraits. The Vidaai was an exception to a typical one. Her father ushered them into the car with a big gring as he said … “c’mon of you go quickly.. no need to cry we’ll be meeting within 20 minutes in the bungalow right next to wedding venue!” And I knew where Priya gets her cool quotient from.

Recently, her father has been awarded a medal by the President of India and Anshul was a lead in one of the parades which was a part of Republic Day Parade in Delhi 2017. Yay!

I can’t thank Priya and Anshul enough for letting me be a part of their celebrations. A big shout out to two of the coolest people I’ve photographed.

Hold on tight, grab your favorite beverage and watch with some love :)
