Sanjana & Mihir’s Maharashtrian Wedding at Siddhi Saaz Pune

Sanjana would be one of the most genuinely humble, honest, and wonderful people I have ever met. Ever. In today’s world, as one of her friends beautifully said, she still has the empathy and patience to truly listen to other people. She makes everyone around her feel heard and valued, something that feels increasingly rare. Mihir is equally calm, carrying an innocent mischievous smile that always hints at something fun around the corner. Beneath that quiet exterior are some surprisingly impressive Michael Jackson moves, as many would soon discover. Together, they are simply perfect. Their shared love for animals and chess has brought them together forever. Ever since they met, chess has been a part of their story. Today, the king and queen, along with their beloved pups and cats, are happily busy navigating the 64 squares of life together.

The festivities began at Sanjana’s residence with mehendi celebrations, a small birthday party for her father, some wonderfully crazy sangeet dances, and a complete blast of a surprise when Mihir showed off his hidden Michael Jackson moves. The kind of warmth that only comes from being surrounded by people who genuinely love and care for each other. After some power packed sangeet performances, everyone truly let their hair down for the DJ party. Left foot, right foot, heavy foot, light foot… whatever their style, everyone found their way to the dance floor.

The wedding itself had a wonderful flow. They had decided to go with a modified set of vidhis that suited their thoughts, their outlook towards each other, and the life they wanted to build together. It felt personal, meaningful, and truly their own. A room full of family and friends cheered with joy as they exchanged the varmalas, celebrating not just a wedding but the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.
