Smriti & Abishek’s tambram wedding in Pune

Would you believe it if I said it took almost two days for me to consolidate photos from 3 days and multiple functions to create this one blog post. Mad stuff isn’t it. But it’s worth every bit. Smriti & Abishek’s wedding was spread over 3 days! Mehendi at Smritis place and then a full fledge Tamil wedding followed by a mad cocktail party.
Swaraj and Abishek are childhood friends and Shruti and Swaraj referred me to them. Yay! I vaguely remember Abishek during their wedding though 😁 I actually went through the album to find Abishek dancing during the Sangeet. Smriti, Abishek & I had a few late night calls to discuss the wedding and we met during the Mehendi directly! I fell in love with the vibe of the house & the entire family. Just didn’t feel that I met them for the very first time! Dancing is their genes and right from kids to the eldest aunt .. they all got their moves. The Sangeet was a blast! Hindi & Tamil songs filling up the evening along with uncle’s birthday bash 😁😁.
The wedding day began with Smritis portraits and power packed garland exchange. We managed to save ourselves from the flying laddus while we prepared ourselves for the emotional moment of ‘Tali’ where everything comes together. Its happily yet emotional moment. We grabbed them just after the lunch for some fun portraits on the terrace. The feature image is exactly the beautiful humans they are. The cocktail party was absolutely mad from the moment we went in! I somehow managed a break a leg myself but I was far betterbehind the camera 😂😂 Oh how can I not mention the food! Two days we gorged on some of the best South India food I have ever had!
Smriti & Abishek .. super hifi to your wonderful family and friends especially Smriti’s father, mother and aunts whom I still hunbly follow on fabecook as well 😄😄. A big bear hug to both of you for being so cool & truly enjoying every bit of the day.

Here’s a selection of photos from all the functions. It’s a long post but it’s worth it.
