Photographing the SLP – Pune chapter for the second time was an exciting and challenging experience. The task at hand was to capture three portraits of each participant within a tight timeframe of just 5-6 minutes. This meant that I had to work quickly and efficiently, while still ensuring that each portrait was unique and reflective of the participant’s personality and interests.
I started by introducing myself to each participant and taking a few minutes to get to know them. I asked them about their hobbies, interests, and role models, in order to get a better sense of their personality and how best to capture it on camera. For the first two portraits, I asked the participants to look directly towards the camera, I focused on capturing their confidence and professionalism. For the third portrait, I encouraged the participants to be more casual and natural, and to express themselves in a way that reflected their hobbies or interests. Some participants chose to pose with props or enact scenes from their favorite movies or TV shows, while others simply smiled and looked relaxed in front of the camera.
Despite the tight time frame, the shoot was a great success. I was able to capture a range of portraits that showcased the unique personalities and interests of each participant, while still maintaining a consistent and professional look and feel. And most importantly, I was able to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, creating a fun and enjoyable experience for all involved.
