Akanksha & Vikram // South Indian wedding photographer // Malayalam weddings

Akanksha and Vikram got married among friends and loved ones in one of my favorite venues. RSI, Pune. It was a pleasant day and I was looking forward to some wonderful photos. Thankfully it wasn’t raining that morning. I got one of my favorite dad-daughter photos as he was taking photos of Akanksha as she was getting ready. Timelines were perfectly managed and we got a lot of time to take portraits and photos with her family. Vikram and his family reached the venue and the traditional Kerala wedding ceremonies began with his welcome. It was a breeze of a wedding as most of them are. Especially when the couple is absolutely relaxed and are enjoying their day in between all the hustle bustle of an Indian wedding. We got amazing couple photos before the wedding and post reception.

I met Akanksha and her brother during our earlier meets .. waiting for Vikram to return home his ship duties. We three met for lunch and spoke almost all topics under the sun. We hit it off like old friends meeting after a long time. They looked absolutely fantastic together! a perfect fit. Akanksha was a natural in the front of camera and I was told Vikram is bit camera shy. But with Akanksha he truly found his sweet spot and they worked the couple portraits perfectly.

We also covered their Grihapravesh and were treated with hot cup of chai & some keralite delicacies :D Yay! The rain god also were at their best and it only started to drizzle once grihapravesh was done.

We have met a lot of time after the wedding over albums design and general chit chat & it’s always wonderful to meet them. I recently got to know that Akanksha bakes some tasty cakes :P .. I can’t wait to gobble up one soon .. (Akanksha… are you listening :P)

Vikram and Siddharth are best of friends and decided to book me after he saw Soniya & Siddharth’s wedding. Take a a look at Soniya & Siddharth’s wedding
